SUMMARY:Webinar: Pathways for Respite Care: Faith Communities and Families Impacted by Disability
DESCRIPTION:Families who have children with disabilities often struggle to find high quality respite care. This webinar will describe partnership between JFK Partners (CO UCEDD)\, the Respite Coalition of Colorado and Night Lights\, LLC\, a non-profit that delivers respite care in several congregations. We will highlight how this collaboration evolved and the results from a survey of faith communities regarding their readiness to include respite in their ministries/programs. \nJoin speakers: Eric J. Moody (JFK Partners)\, Val Saiz (Respite Coalition of Colorado)\, and Kristen Steadman of Nightlights (a respite program operated out of several congregations).
