Collaborative partners are actively engaged in research projects focused on learning how best to support the spiritual and religious needs of people with disabilities and their families, as well as how to equip faith communities, seminaries, service providers, and others to support well this segment of their communities. Below is a list of current Collaborative projects.
- National Congregational Inclusion Study
Through this project, we will undertake a national study aimed at understanding the ways and extent to which congregations are inviting, welcoming, and supporting people with disabilities and their families into the life of their faith community. These data will be used to help us determine how best to build the commitment and capacity of congregations to be inclusive of people with disabilities. It will also help us gauge changes over time in the inclusive landscape, identify key factors shaping the actions of faith communities in this area, and identify innovative efforts worth sharing more broadly.
