Webinar: The Fellowship of Kindred Minds: Collaborative Pastoral Care with People with Intellectual Disabilities

People with intellectual disabilities have been called by God to offer their gifts and talents to the ministries of faith communities–including the communities’ caring ministries. Like their typically-functioning brothers and sisters in Christ, Christians with intellectual disabilities have been called to both give and receive pastoral support and care. What might a ministry of truly collaborative pastoral care look like in a faith community? Drawing on her recent book on the subject, Anna Kate Shurley will consider how person-centered practices of support can inform a ministry of pastoral care for all of God’s people.
